Welcome to the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa
Information for Incoming Staff – Erasmus+ KA171 Programme
The University of Applied Sciences in Nysa (UAS Nysa) proudly welcomes academic and administrative staff from non-EU partner countries under the Erasmus+ KA171 programme. This programme offers a unique opportunity for professional exchange, capacity building, and international cooperation between UAS Nysa and institutions outside the European Union.
Who can participate?
We invite applications from staff members at non-EU higher education institutions that have a valid inter-institutional agreement with UAS Nysa under Erasmus+ KA171 (here you can check the list of the partner universities: https://pans.nysa.pl/org/ico/strona/partner-universities), including:
- Academic staff – for teaching mobility
- Administrative and support staff – for training mobility
What kind of activities are available?
1. Staff Mobility for Teaching
- For academic staff wishing to deliver guest lectures or seminars.
- Includes collaboration with UAS Nysa staff and engagement with students.
- Duration: 5 days (excluding travel), with a minimum of 8 teaching hours per week.
2. Staff Mobility for Training
- For academic or administrative staff to gain new skills and knowledge.
- Activities may include:
- Job shadowing
- Observation visits
- Attending internal workshops or meetings
- Duration: 5 days (excluding travel).
Funding and support
If you are selected for the Erasmus+ KA171 mobility with the grant, the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa (in cooperation with your home University) will sign with you the grant agreement based on which you will support you with:
- daily subsistence for your stay (5 days for the mobility + 2 days for travel)
- travel costs (based on distance between home and host institution).
How to apply?
- Ensure your institution has an active KA171 inter-institutional agreement with UAS Nysa.
- Contact your home Erasmus+ coordinator, check the funding availability
(number of places are limited and offered based on the current ongoing project) and go through the selection process at your home university. - Ask your coordinator to send the official nomination to our International Cooperation Office
- Send a Mobility Agreement for Teaching or Training for approval and complete the online from with the personal information to the grant agreement (link: https://forms.gle/KaTNziWN8u34rrnP7 )
