Visit of Prof. Boualem Benghalem from the University of Ain Temouchent (Algeria)
From November 14 to 28, 2024, the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa hosted Professor Boualem Benghalem from the University of Ain Temouchent, Algeria. During his visit, Professor Benghalem delivered a series of engaging lectures and workshops for students of English studies with a teaching specialization. His contributions included:
- Workshops on teaching methodology,
- Thesis seminars,
- Practical guidance on writing bachelor theses.
In addition, students benefited from individual consultations where Professor Benghalem shared his extensive scientific expertise and practical insights. Beyond teaching, Professor Benghalem engaged in collaborative research with our university staff, contributing to joint publications and further strengthening academic ties between the two institutions.
This visit highlights the productive academic exchange between the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa and the University of Ain Temouchent. While previous collaborations were conducted under the Erasmus+ Program, this visit focused on research and academic development, underscoring the mutual commitment to innovation and growth.
Professor Benghalem also met with key university representatives, including the Rector, Prof. Mariusz Kołosowski, the Dean of the Faculty of Neofilology, Prof. Monika Witt, and the Head of the Department of External Relations, Msc. Anna Opałka. These meetings facilitated discussions on expanding the existing cooperation between the two universities. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Professor Boualem Benghalem for his dedication and invaluable contributions to our academic community.
