Visit of Lenka Noskova from Palacký University in Olomouc and ZS a MS Olomouc

On November 26-27, 2024, Lenka Nosková, a teacher at a primary school in Olomouc and a former student, visited the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa. In 2017, she participated in an Erasmus+ scholarship program at the UAS in Nysa, representing Palacký University in Olomouc. The aim of the study visit within the framework of the Erasmus+ project was, among others, to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the ZS and MS Olomouc primary school and the UAS in Nysa in the field of students and staff of preschool and early childhood education and English Philology.

The visit program included:
🔹 A meeting with the Dean of the faculty of social sciences, Dr. Janusz Kawalec, and the Deputy Dean for the early childhood and preschool pedagogy program,
Dr. Maria Huchrak, to discuss joint workshops, educational projects, and student internships at the partner school in Olomouc.
🔹 Discussions with the Deputy Dean of the faculty of Neophilology, Dr. Małgorzata Kamińska, and Dr. Agnieszka Kaczmarek, focusing on specific opportunities for further scientific and educational collaboration.
🔹 A meeting at the International Cooperation Office with its head, Anna Opałka, M.SC., to explore potential projects connecting teachers and future English language teachers from both institutions.
🔹 Visits to educational institutions cooperating with UAS in Nysa: Primary School No. 1 in Nysa and the Diocesan Humanities High School in Nysa.

Lenka Nosková, who has fond memories of her studies at Nysa, expressed her happiness at being able to return to Nysa after so many years and emphasized her commitment to building long-term cooperation between the institutions in Nysa and Olomouc. "Visiting Nysa again and creating something that connects our universities has been my dream since I worked at the university. I’m delighted to see it coming true now," she said. During her visit, the prospects for cooperation between the ZŠ an MŠ Olomouc and UAS were discussed, particularly in the areas of student exchange for work placements, study visits, and cooperation between the staff of the two institutions. We are delighted that so many people, like Lenka, are returning to NYSA with fond memories and a desire to work together again.

🌍✨ We look forward to continuing our joint efforts and launching new, inspiring projects within the Erasmus+ program 😊.
