International Summer Programme 2026 Brings Together Future Global Leaders in Nysa
From 22 June to 3 July 2026, the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa proudly hosted the 4th International Summer Programme (ISP 2026), welcoming students and academics from around the world for two weeks of intensive international learning, intercultural exchange, and unforgettable experiences. This year's programme once again confirmed that Nysa is becoming an important international academic meeting point, combining high-quality education with cultural diversity and practical learning. Participants completed 40 hours of classes and activities, earning 4 ECTS credits through a combination of lectures, workshops, company visits, open lectures, teamwork, and cultural events.
International in Every Sense
ISP 2026 welcomed over 100 participants representing 22 countries, including: Algeria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Colombia, Croatia, Egypt, Finland,
India, Iraq, Jordan; Kazakhstan; Kosovo, Lithuania, Mexico, Poland, Romania, Thailand, Türkiye, Ukraine, UK, United States, Australia
Students had the opportunity to study alongside peers from different cultural and academic backgrounds, strengthening intercultural competencies
while building friendships and professional networks that extend far beyond the classroom.
Outstanding International Faculty
Together, they brought extensive international academic, research, and industry experience into the classroom. Courses were designed for tomorrow's challenges and participants explored contemporary global topics through five intensive academic courses:

The International Summer Programme combined academic excellence with a rich programme of integration and cultural activities. Participants enjoyed also team-building workshops, guided tour of the historic city of Nysa, visit to the famous Nysa Fortress, bowling evening, company study visits, open lectures delivered by international experts and final group`s presentations session and Closing Ceremony. These activities created numerous opportunities for networking, intercultural dialogue, and lasting friendships.
Throughout the programme, students also attended a series of inspiring open lectures, including:

- Becoming a Purple Cow by Alejandro Quintana Vega, Colombia
- Traditional vs. Post-Modern Education by Sebastian Zatylny/Poland
- Disaster Communication by Öğr. Gör. Nihal Kocaağa
The International Summer Programme demonstrates the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa's commitment to internationalisation and high-quality education. By combining academic excellence, practical learning, cultural exchange, and international cooperation, the programme equips students with valuable skills required in today's global labour market. The fourth edition once again proved that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Participants left Nysa with new knowledge, international friendships, enhanced intercultural competence, and memories that will last a lifetime. We sincerely thank all lecturers, partner universities, organisers, and students for making International Summer Programme 2026 another outstanding success.
