Dr. Eng. Adam Ujma from the Faculty of Technical Sciences on a visit to Kazakhstan 22-26 April 2024

Dr. Adam Ujma from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, National Academy of Applied Sciences in Nysa, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program, was a guest from 22 - 26 April 2024, at the International Educational Corporation (IEC - KazGASA) in the city of Almaty (Kazakhstan).

As part of the residency program, he delivered lectures to students majoring in Architecture, on the possibilities of reducing heat loss and reduction of non-renewable energy consumption in modern green building, as well as architectural and construction solutions renewable energy. The lectures were met with great interest by the students and teaching staff of the visited university.

During the visit, Dr. Eng. Adam Ujma got acquainted with the study programs and scientific research conducted, the teaching and laboratory base. He held talks with the IEC's JM Rector, the Dean of the IEC's Faculty of Architecture and lecturers in the Architecture faculty. The talks focused on the possibility of expanding cooperation on the educational and scientific level, including the offer of PANS in Nysa to IEC students and teaching staff. The visit to the IEC was an excellent opportunity to promote the UAS in Nysa to a well-known, major Kazakh university center. Talks with the university's management and staff showed the Kazakh center's openness to developing cooperation between our centers.

In May this year, PANS in Nysa will host representatives of the International Educational Corporation (IEC - KazGASA), who, among other things, will participate in the International Staff Training Week, as well as give lectures to Architecture students.
