UAS in Nysa students at the summer programme in Mexico CETYS Universidad Ensenada, Baja California
From July 18th to July 29th, 2024, students of University of Applied Sciences in Nysa: Magdalena Kolaszewska (Nursing), Amelia Wilczyńska (Finance) and Adam Chmielewski (English Philology) participated in the International Summer School organized by CETYS Universidad Ensenada in Mexico.
The programme was organized under the Erasmus+ Programme, and each of the students chose a different course, gaining knowledge and valuable practical experience. Participation in the summer school was a fantastic opportunity to learn and make international friends and learn about diverse cultures. Classes taught by professors from all around the world were interactive and interesting, and students had the opportunity to participate in group projects and case studies, which allowed them to break down both cultural and language barriers.
During their stay, study visits to local companies were organized, to enable deeper understanding of their activities and to gain some practical knowledge. In addition, participants had a chance to learn about Mexican culture by learning the salsa dance and tasting local cuisine such as tacos and paella during Mexican Day.
Prior to the start of classes at CETYS, students spent several days in San Diego, U.S.A, visiting Balboa Park, Broadway Pier and Ocean Beach, among other places, allowing them to fulfill their dreams. We encourage all PANS Nysa students to take advantage of opportunities offered by the University through international programs such as Erasmus+.
The next recruitment for a ISP to Mexico will be in February 2025
