Adaptation Day for Erasmus+ Students at PANS Nysa – Summer Term
On February 19, 2025, the Adaptation Day for Erasmus+ students who arrived in Nysa for the summer term took place at the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa. The event aimed to introduce the students to the university, its infrastructure, academic culture, and the planned events for the upcoming term.
Around 30 students will begin their studies at UAS in Nysa, coming from universities such as the University of Valladolid (SPAIN), University of Malta (MALTA), Athens University (GREECE), Ahmadabad University (INDIA), South Valley University (EGYPT), Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Lviv Polytechnic National University (UKRAINE), University of Ain Temouchent (ALGERIA), Ain Shams University, Cairo (EGYPT), University of Prishtina (KOSOVO), University of Galati (ROMANIA), Univerzitet Donja Gorica (MONTENEGRO), Çağ University (TURKEY), Kütahya Dumlupınar University (TURKEY), Universidad de Zaragoza (SPAIN), Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (SPAIN), Universidad de Granada (SPAIN).
The newly arrived students had the opportunity to attend an informational meeting, in which they learned about the study regulations at UAS Nysa, the educational offer, and the available administrative support. They also participated in Polish language workshops run by Ms. Patrycja Twardowska, a lecturer from the Foreign Language Study Center.
Important part of the event was the integration workshops, which helped students make their first acquaintances and feel part of the international community at UAS in Nysa. The meeting concluded with a delicious meal shared together, where students had the opportunity to meet their academic supervisors and exchange their first impressions.
