Partnership Visit from Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages in Uzbekistan
On April 9th to 13th , 2024, the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa hosted a delegation from the Namangan State Institute of Foreign Languages in Uzbekistan, a partner institution within the Erasmus+ program, with which the Nysa Alma Mater shares close ties of cooperation.
During this visit, His Excellency Rector, Dr. Rivojiddin Karimov, and Dr. Gulnoza Nishanova had the opportunity to meet with His Excellency Rector, Dr. Eng. Przemysław Malinowski, on April 10th , 2024.
During this meeting, an Agreement on Cooperation between the two universities was signed, which not only entails the exchange of academic staff and students under various programs
but also entails scientific cooperation and the organization of joint educational initiatives such as conferences and internships for students of philological studies.
The meeting was also attended by Mrs. Dean of the Neophilology Faculty, Dr. hab. Alina Dittmann, Prof., and Mrs. Vice-Dean of the English Philology, Dr. Małgorzata Kamińska.
The guests also had the opportunity to meet with the Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Development, Dr. Eng. Piotr Chwastyk, and the Head of the External Relations Department, Ms. Anna Opałka, M.Sc, and to conduct lectures for students of English Philology on the following topics:
- Preschool and primary school educational reforms in Uzbekistan.
- Pedagogy in preschools and primary schools.
- Applying media in schools (modern teaching technologies and challenges faced by learners).
- Pedagogical supervision in foreign language programs
