Training visit to the Polytechnic University of Timișoara in Romania

From 05.06 to 09.06.2023, our employees: Dr. Adriana Halikowska (Faculty of Economic Sciences) and M.Sc. Ewa Bernat (Archives UAS in Nysa), visited the Polytechnic University of Timișoara. 

The Polytechnic University of Timișoara is an university with a long tradition, as it was founded in 1920. It is a centre for advanced research and education and is now one of the mostt important universities in Romania. The Polytechnic University of Timișoara educates around 13 500 students in 10 faculties. During their visit, our employees took part in ‘The 1st Politehnica University of Timișoara’s International Staff Week Erasmus+: Merging Partnerships, Cultures & Mindsets’. The trip was part of the Erasmus+ programme and the aim of the trip was to establish cooperation with the Polytechnic University of Timișoara and other univeristies that also participated in the activity. The visit was a great opportunity to have effective discussions on international cooperation and make new contacts. Furthermore, as a part of the visit, our employees had the opportunity to talk to the authorities. In addition, as part of this activity, participants had the opportunity to visit Romania and see how diverse and beautiful it is.
