Delegation from Almaty in Kazakhstan and signing of cooperation agreement with the Institute of Economics of the Committee for Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On 28.06.2023r. the University of Applied Sciences hosted a delegation from the Institute of Economics of the Committee for Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the meeting there was an official handover of the cooperation agreement signed by Chancellor Przemysław Malinowski, Ph. the UAS in Nysa.
The agreement provides i.e. the following forms of cooperation:
- cooperation in the framework of Erasmus+ and other European programmes,
- exchange of lecturers in the form of guest lectures, consultations, research work, participation in scientific events, etc.
- exchange of young academic staff and students for training purposes,
- exchange of publications and scientific information.
On behalf of the university, the ceremony was attended by Vice-Chancellor for Cooperation and Development, Piotr Chwastyk, Ph, as well as the Head of International Cooperation Department of the UAS in Nysa – Anna Opałka, MSC.
The guest had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the didactic base of the Nysa university, and in the International Cooperation Office with its profile and possible forms and procedures of cooperation.
They also took part in the part of the programme of the International Summer School organised at the University.
The Institute of Economics of the Committee of Science of the Ministry and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan were represented by:
- Satybaldin Azimkhan, Director of the Institute and Professor of Economics at RAS RK with his wife Mrs Shmirbayeva Rakhima
- Ruzanov Rashid, Deputy Director for General Affairs
- Panzabekova Axana, PhD, Associate Professor, Scientific Director of the Institute of Economics
- Tleppayev Arsen, PhD, Associate Professor of the Kazakh-German University
- Ganibey Ulpan, student of FH Mittweida and translator
Among other things, the university in Kazakhstan is conducting cooperation in joint education with FH Mittweida, which is also a partner of the UAS in Nysa, hence other activities and projects related to teaching and scientific activities of all three institutions.
