Partnership visits from Malaysia, India and Albania

From 26-30.07.2023,  University of Applied Sciences in Nysa hosted delegations from The Universiti Teknologi MARA -Malaysia, The Savitribai Phule Pune University- India, and The Canadian Institute of Technology- Albania. The mobilities were carried out under the Erasmus+ Programme with partner countries. 

The university was visited by:
- Prof. Enriko Ceko from the Canadian Institute of Technology, Albania
- Prof. Asmida Ismail from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia
- Prof. Ketaki Milind Manthalkar of Savitribai Phule Pune University, India  

During their stay at the University of Applied Sciences in Nysa, the delegations had a chance to familiarize themselves with the organizational structure and teaching facilities of the University, including the Medical Simulation Center and the workshop rooms for the cosmetology major. In addition, guests met with the Vice-Rector Dr. Mariusz Kolosowski and  had the opportunity to present their home universities, exchange experiences, as well as to discuss cooperation between partner universities from Albania, India and Malaysia under the Erasmus+ program and other initiatives.

An important part of the stay was a yoga class conducted at Balena Space by Ms. Prof. Ketaki Milind Manthalkar from India, who is a psychologist and certified yoga instructor who combines these two specialties in both her professional and private life. The class, opened for Nysa citizens, combined with a brief introduction about how regular yoga practice can affect our bodies both physically and mentally, was a valuable experience for all participants. In addition, during their stay in Nysa, the guests had the opportunity to attend a concert held at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul in Nysa as part of the 10th International Cello Academy, as well as to explore the beauty of the city's tourist facilities headed by Nysa Lake and visit the Moszna Castle.
